Kennel Cough is one of many upper respiratory diseases that are rarely fatal but highly contagious to dogs. If your dog goes to the dog park, boarding facility, or plays with other dogs then vaccinating for Bordetella, Canine influenza, and DHPP are strongly recommended to decrease the severity of an upper respiratory infection should it occur.
