Important Pender Update:

As the status in Virginia de-escalates, we are happy to continue to incorporate in-person appointments at Pender Fairfax, Chantilly and Manassas. Pender Emergency will remain open from 7:00am-10:00pm until announced.

Personal Interests

My husband and I are excited to be new residents of Virginia! We enjoy traveling and sunny days outside with our golden retriever, Walt. Our two cats, Stewart and Lilly, enjoy snuggling on the couch over our favorite tv shows. We are happy to announce that we are expecting our first baby human in July!

How I Got Here

During veterinary school, I realized my passion for client-patient relationships and communication. I dedicated myself to small animal general practice upon graduation. However, the joys of mentorship and sharing knowledge led me to become a clinician at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine for nearly four years. During that time, my love for geriatric patients and those with chronic conditions stemmed the desire to complete my certifications in physical therapy (rehab) and acupuncture. I am both a certified Fear Free Veterinarian and AAFP Feline Friendly Veterinarian. I am also a federally accredited veterinarian, who can write international and national health certificates.  As a newer member of the team, I am looking forward to developing new relationships with clients and pets in general practice! I am also very excited to help create an integrative medicine service at Pender Veterinary Centre!
