When you call the hospital, we appreciate your patience in holding as we are currently experiencing longer than normal wait times, 5-15 minutes. A member of our team will be with you as soon as possible. Please do not hang up; all calls are answered in the order they are received.
These are symptoms that we see from all types, shapes, and sizes of pets at Pender every week. If either of these are seen just one time by an owner, there is very seldom a serious problem. But, if the frequency is often or chronic with either, there can be serious life threatening problems. Small animals dehydrate and get chemically out of balance quickly, and must receive IV fluids to get re-balanced. Call immediately for assistance in making decisions if your pet vomits or has diarrhea more than once. Our friendly technicians and doctors will help you decide if your beloved pet needs additional care at our hospital or if rest and your TLC are the right prescription.
