Pender Veterinary Centre is honored to partner with the Fairfax County Animal Shelter (FCAS) to promote pet adoption in Fairfax County. Pender provides on-site veterinary care to animals brought to the shelter. In addition, Pender is creating the Pender Pals Membership program providing discount services for pet owners adopting through Fairfax County Animal Shelter.
We reward your choice to adopt a pet from FCAS in two big ways:
As an added bonus, your newly adopted pet may have already been seen at FCAS by a Pender veterinarian so we are familiar with your pet and have all medical notes on file.
Partnering with Pender is a win-win for you and your pet; you ensure you have a healthy, happy new pet and you save on veterinary care.

We want you to treasure your time with your new family member! Quality health care is a great place to get started — having a relationship with a veterinarian you trust and the resources you need is the key to a long and happy life with your pet. Fairfax County residents have been trusting the doctors and staff at the Pender Family of Pet Care Companies for over 45 years.
You love your pet—they're part of your family. And just like every member of your family, you want to provide them with the best quality food and medical care available at fair and reasonable pricing. How do you balance and prioritize cost, convenience, and quality?
Preventative medicine begins with a comprehensive physical examination. Your pet’s veterinarian is also your pet’s dentist, psychiatrist, cardiologist, radiologist, anesthesiologist, surgeon, ophthalmologist and much more. He or she wears many professional hats.
